The ALPE GRAN FONDO cycling gem traditionally offers three courses of varying difficulty, all starting from the center of Kamnik, combining a sporting challenge, stunning views, and a true cycling experience in the heart of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
According to many, this is definitely the cycling course with the most beautiful views in Slovenia and far beyond.
The short 15-km course leads to the finish at the inn on Črnivec. With a 534-meter elevation gain, it is an excellent choice for both recreational cyclists and more serious competitors seeking a faster yet still challenging alpine test.
The 75-km hobby course includes two challenging climbs—Črnivec and Podvolovjek—and two refreshment stations. The finish line is at Podvolovjek, KRANJSKI RAK, from where cyclists return to the main venue in Kamnik in accordance with traffic rules. With 1,454 meters of elevation gain, it is suitable for both serious recreational cyclists and competitors.
The most challenging course, the 130-km PRO course, is designed for well-trained and elite recreational cyclists. With over 2,000 meters of elevation gain, it offers a truly royal challenge. Cyclists will face three mountain passes—Črnivec, Pavličevo sedlo, and Jezersko—as well as three refreshment stations located at the top of the mountain passes, which will provide extra energy along the way.
