We haven’t quite gathered all our impressions yet, as we’re still reliving the wonderful moments of our amazing event, but we can definitely say that this year’s edition of ALPE GRAN FONDO 2025 is once again successfully behind us.

Beautiful weather, tough competition from top cyclists, and participants from 15 countries – it was more than we could have wished for. While last year we were greeted by rainy weather at the start, which practically didn’t let up all day, this year our cycling celebration was marked by heat and sunshine, with not a single cloud in the sky.

All of this was possible thanks above all to you – the cyclists – and the entire team that helped deliver the event with such quality.
Once again, the numbers are truly impressive:
- 70 police officers on the route in Slovenia
- Police support along the routes in Austria
- 15 motorcyclists on the course
- Over 130 route marshals
- Three medical teams
- The entire Tourism Kamnik team, led by Luka Svetec
- Thanks to all 10 municipalities along the route, and especially to the authorities in Austria
- Our entire organizational team, and of course
- The mayor of Kamnik, Mr. Matej Slapar, who once again supported the realization of our event
Thank you all.

Excellent weather conditions and ideal road surfaces contributed to record-breaking times across all routes.

SPECIAL NOTES & INCIDENT
This year, our race was part of the Slovenian Cup, under the supervision of the Cycling Federation of Slovenia (KZS). Unfortunately, the event was also marked by an unfortunate incident.
The third rider to cross the finish line on the longest route, Tadej Sadar, who placed third overall, was found to not be officially registered for the event. He was wearing another participant’s race number, and during the official podium photography, he did not disclose this to the organizers.
This act is a serious violation of competition rules. Upon investigation, the race committee determined that this was not his first offense of this kind. As a result, he was disqualified, and disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against both him and the registered participant whose number he used, under the authority of the Cycling Federation of Slovenia.
This behavior is shameful, and we regret that such an incident occurred at our event. It reflects poorly on individuals who believe they are above the rules.
Thankfully, no other violations were observed by the race officials.

We will continue to update the full news post as soon as we receive more photos and additional information for publication.
🎉 Once again, congratulations to all participants, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stood by us and helped make this event possible.

👋 See you next year!
And now… you’ve definitely earned your vacation! ☀️🚴♂️🍹
